GMAT Registration : Complete Guide (Step by Step With Pictures)

  1. Steps to register for GMAT online in detail

    1. Go to www.mba.com. On the upper left corner, under ‘The GMAT EXAM’, click on register and then click on ‘Schedule a GMAT exam’. Fill in the particulars and click on create account.
    2. You are directed to this page, where you need to fill up your name and email address.
    3. Fill in other details like address, city, zip code, telephone number, language preference, etc.
    4. In the Profile Details page, other personal information like DOB, Citizenship, etc needs to be filled. Click on next.
    5. The step 2 of Profile Details consists of communication preference i.e. in addition to mail, can the contact be made through phone or SMS. You can also tick the additional information as per your preference. Click on next.
    6. The step 3 of Profile Details consists of adding your undergraduate information.
    7. The step 4 of Profile Details consists of adding any work experience you have attained.
    8. Fill in your preference in the location of study, graduate management degree, etc.
    9. The next step is to verify profile. Make sure that you double check all the information before saving your profile or else, once the profile has been submitted, you will have to contact the GMAT customer service to make any changes. Click on save profile.
    10. Schedule your GMAT exam by choosing a test centre. You can select up to 3 test centres to compare the availability.
    11. Choose the appointment preference as per your convenience.
    12. Confirm the exam details entered.
    13. The last step is to pay the GMAT fee which is $250 and which is around Rs. 15,000- 16,000 approximately.
    14. After the payment is done, the student will be directed to the Registration confirmation page.

        Note: Regardless of the mode of Registration, an Email confirming the Registration will be sent to the candidate.

  1. Registration via mail

     

    The candidates can register by emailing the form and it should be accompanied by money order or credit card information. Forms received without payment will be returned. It should be duly noted that it might take up to 8 weeks for the letters to reach the address. The form should be mailed to the following address:

  1. Tips on Registration

    1. The process of Registration is available throughout the year but the provision of taking the test will depend on the availability of the exam date.
    2. Candidates applying must be 18 years or more, or else a written proof of the guardian’s consent in taking the test should be provided.
    3. It can be taken only 5 times in 12 months.
    4. GMAT rescheduling fee is US $50 and the additional GMAT score fee is US $28 per report.
    5. Provision is provided for the test takers with disabilities.
